A label is so much more than a piece of woven fabric attached to your product. A label is essentially a brand. Successful businesses recognize this, that’s right, a label is more than a piece of cloth, it is a powerful identity tool, capable of increasing profit margins and taking your brand to the next level.
When you order custom caps for resell or give-aways for corporate events creating your own personal label is the best way to inexpensively advertise. There are many varieties of labels to suit every need. Woven Labels are most commonly used as clothing and apparel tags, which are sewn into seams, the back of collars or into hems, for caps they are sewn onto the sweatband. These labels commonly contain two things: a company’s logo/branding information as well as necessary information about the cap itself. This necessary information most often contains the size of the cap (ex. 7, 7 1/4, etc) as well as care information (ex. machine wash cold, dry clean only, ect). Most cap labels also display the type of fabric the garment is made from (ex. 95% cotton, 5% spandex), as well as where the garment was made (ex. Made in the USA). Most caps have simple woven labels on them that will only display the cap size and/or the company logo.
